Microfilm Formats
All film starts life as either 16mm or 35mm film, and depending on what type of file you have it is held in either roll film or jacket/microfiche format
Roll Film
Usually preferred when dealing with closed files, the roll film can be blipped to enable easy retrieval, which can be emailed to requesting customers
Jackets/Microfiche
Usually preferred when dealing with live files which require additional documents adding. Rows of microfilm are fed into a 6”x4” sleeve to create a jacket. This may be copied to give a single microfiche. This format is easily retrieved and can be emailed to requesting customers. Prices
